As the Food and Beverage Assistant Director, you’ll be responsible for restaurant operations with a focus on food preparation and kitchen management. You’ll also collaborate with the activities department to provide food-related activities for resort guests.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure kitchen staff maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Prepare top-quality food and lead inventory and supplier relations.
- Maintain food and liquor costs within budget.
- Collaborate with other departments to build unique activities.
- Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
- Handle guest recovery and resolve complaints effectively.
- Supervise kitchen equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Develop new dishes and update menus to attract more guests.
- Ensure excellent guest service and embody Hilton Grand Vacations values.
- Complete required training and adhere to company policies.
- Carry out additional tasks as advised.
Requirements:
To fulfill this role optimally, you should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
- 1+ years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of wine varietals and pairings.
- Solid background in food and kitchen management.
- Strong culinary skills and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with current culinary trends and efficient kitchen processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems.
- Health and safety training credentials (e.g., Serve Safe/OSHA).
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sous chef and cook supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with Agilysys POS.
