What Will I be Doing?
The HRBP Manager will engage as a front-facing HR presence to support Team Members in navigating through the organization. Works with the appropriate centers of excellence and/or HR Contact Center (At Your Service) to resolve challenges that Team Members may face to allow them to quickly re-engage in their work.
You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Team Member Support:
- Ensures continuity across the organization of HR practices and facilitates local HR processes on site.
- Create value by assisting Team Members in navigating through the organization, engaging in intake to find solutions and resources for their problems or challenging situations. Collaborate with HR Business Partner & COEs on escalations as appropriate.
- Serves as first point of contact for team members assigned to their designated.
- Serve as a credible partner for Team Members to voice concerns, ask questions, and request assistance.
- Guides and coaches team members on how to effectively manage and resolve issues including how to navigate difficult conversations.
- Supports change management initiatives ensuring successful team member transitions.
- Responsible for the administration, security, confidentiality, and retention of team member records.
- Responsible for training and onboarding new HRBP Specialists across the HRBP Function.
- Be of service of leadership to find solutions with COEs across the business.
- Investigates and follows up on escalated employee relations issues and serves as the liaison to the Team Member Relations (TMR) department.
Onboarding:
- Responsible for the successful onboarding of all new Team Members and Leaders within market/region.
- Facilitate areas of the core onboarding process (including New Hire Orientation session) and monitors a compliant I-9 process from onboarding to offboarding, to include renewals as required.
- Aid HRBP function in coordination of effective Onboarding & Talent Management process.
Business Support:
- Maintain a high level of business literacy about assigned client groups’ core function and culture
- Support HR Business Partners in efforts of organizational structure.
- Supports HR Business Partners with talent management, workforce and succession planning, performance planning, and maintaining appropriate data.
- Provide insights to drive continuous improvement of HR deliverables and collaborate in global and local efforts that support TM engagement and retention.
- Present onboarding support and set up of new properties and locations.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations, and human resources.
- Supports ad hoc HR administrative and operational activities.
- Collaborates with Talent Acquisition partners, with a strong focus on building pipeline for future needs.
- Supports and champions performance management process and system to foster an inclusive culture.
- Supports the consistent application, implementation and improvement of HR policies, processes, and programs. (i.e. merit and promotion planning, performance management, employee relations, career development, etc.)

- Bachelors Degree.
- 1-2 years of related experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment
- Ability to anticipate needs and demonstrate good judgement and decision-making skills
- Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in computer skills including applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology and platforms.
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Collaboration with others for insights, improvements, and consistency across HGV.
- Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and company guidelines or policies.
- Demonstrated ability in handling confidential or sensitive information.
