Essential Job Functions:
- Design new and prepare/modify existing reports (daily/weekly/monthly and ad hoc) for use and review by various departments and leadership
- Perform testing and validation as needed
- Track and respond to internal user requests through the ticketing system
- Works with business stakeholders to gather requirements and assess needs through collaborative dialog
- Queries databases with SQL to provide data for various analytical projects
- Implements best practices and assists to improve business processes
- Collaborates with peers, managers, leaders, and internal and external business partners
- Embodies the Hilton Grand Vacations Values of Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership, Now,
- Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
- Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
- Basic knowledge of relational databases
- Familiarity with one or more BI tools, such as Cognos, SSRS, Power BI, etc
- Advanced Excel skills
- Beginner T-SQL or Oracle SQL skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to adjust to different audiences
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Self-lead, proactive and able to create and promote a positive, successful, and professional work environment
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to interpret and create policies, procedures and manuals
- Proficient in time management with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Intermediate math skills
- Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with impending deadlines and/or established timeframes
- 2+ years of experience in timeshare, hospitality, finance or data analytics
