We are currently seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Beachwoods Resort, a stunning 150-room year-round destination in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Nestled within a 100-acre Maritime Forest between the Atlantic Ocean and Albemarle Sound, the resort offers a breathtaking natural setting with lakes, woodlands, wetlands, and wildlife. This is an incredible opportunity to work in a breathtaking environment and be part of an exceptional team. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a essential role in maintaining the pristine condition of guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-the-house areas. Duties include:
- Establishes a clear line of communication with the engineering leadership.
- Assist other maintenance staff on special projects.
- Detailed record keeping for logs and inspection sheets.
- Painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, knockdown and popcorn ceilings.
- Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures including drain cleaning.
- Other duties as assigner by your leader.
Qualifications
Key Skills and experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1- 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance.
- Open and Flexible availability, to include weekends and holidays.
- Can climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and grasp, stoop, reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations.
