The role
The Director, FP&A – will be a leader on the FP&A Business Support team at Hilton Grand Vacations focusing on Corporate support. This role will support the organization with strategic planning, forecasts, budgets, capital initiatives/prioritization, resource planning, and variance analysis. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing for reasonableness financial data from business partners related to assigned subject areas and will work with the FP&A leadership to analyze and report the results to HGV management. The Director will be involved in ad-hoc analysis as required and will lead the creation of monthly reporting packages, quarterly business reviews, and annual budget presentations. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting HR, Legal, Executive as well as an I.T. organization and other corporate functions. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high visibility role with consistent exposure to Senior Leadership and be comfortable presenting information to senior leadership in a clear, concise, easy to digest manner.
Key responsibilities

Interaction with various business areas to understand business performance, analyze trends and results, develop risks and opportunities and produce analyses and reports to aid senior leadership in decision making.

Support Corporate leadership with budgeting, forecasting, analysis and assist in driving efficiencies

Frame up the story of Corporate G&A for various audiences understanding controllable vs uncontrollable costs

Work with leadership to develop solutions to mitigate risk

Partner with the Director of FP&A IT to understand and consolidate IT and capital analysis including capital labor strategy and risk assessment

Preparation of forecasting package including analyses of drivers, significant cost/expense items and other key performance indicators.

Support the annual strategic planning and budget process through business unit analytics and preparation of presentation materials for C Suite approval.

Preparation of financial models for capital investment as needed

Review and understand all corporate financial contracts, terms, and amortization schedules where applicable for forecast and budget
- Partner with accounting to understand and forecast integration related expenditures

Experience required
- BA/BS/bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a closely related field.
- 10+ years of related experience in finance/accounting (preferably supporting Corporate G&A).
- Strong oral and written communication skills required for working with all levels of management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required, with expert use of Excel. Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements for sensitive projects is a must.
