Lead LM team to meet and exceed qualified tour, HUA Event, and package expectations to HGV’s Sales Gallery in Hilton Head, SC. To meet objectives, plan objectives and obtain maximum production and efficiencies. This is an onsite working/booking manager role in Hilton Head Island, SC.
Executes Strategy
- Execute tactical marketing plans as set by the Director of Marketing to exceed plan; tour flow; cost/sales efficiency and net volume targets for local Marketing.
- Recruit, hire and train Team Members for Marketing programs.
- Manage and refine the relationship with Resort Operations, Sales and Direct Marketing.
- Manage and coordinate all tour flow for respective Sales Centers.
- Champion Hilton quality customer care culture throughout all Marketing channels.
- Maintain performance management standards, compensation plans and reporting Marketing programs.
- Develop and manage relationships with local vendors, attractions, restaurants and hotel partners to support regional needs.
- Secure now business through IPC and In House tours.
- Secure future business through FPS Sales.
Drives Execution
- Coordinate tour schedule and availability locally with Administrative and Sales team.
- Handle all Marketing related guest issues.
- Handle all NQ’s for Marketing tours.
- Handle tour issues in the lobby and Sales centers.
- Responsible for Marketing presence at Sales Centers during tour rounds as needed and determined by Director of Marketing.
Build and Lead Talent
- Responsible for ongoing training and shadowing to increase production.
- Work with HR to have all new Team Members attend New Hire Orientation and other training programs as needed.
- Proactively seek and schedule ongoing workshops and training sessions to support maximum production, team building and corporate culture.
- Coach the Marketing team in Guest Service and Booking on a weekly basis.
Drive for Results
- Monitor the Marketing Coordinator’s sales pitches and customer interaction on a consistent basis.
- Facilitate all marketing initiatives on the floor.
- Responsible for ensuring FPS packages are being offered to guests who can’t tour at all desks.
- Responsible for monthly reviews and maintaining monthly goals
- Work lobby or prearrival phone shifts as needed
Overall
- Must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, evenings, holidays and any other days/ hours as required per business needs.
- Carries out all reasonable requests by management of which the team member is capable of performing.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in Management
- At least 2 years of local Marketing experience in areas such as In House Marketing and/or OPC.
- Knowledge of on-site and area specific prospect generation programs.
- Demonstrated success in managing relationships with branded hotel general management.
- Must possess superior organizational and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication, training and team building background required.
- Must be able to work flexible work schedules as needed to complete projects.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities and duties.
- Requires alertness and attention to detail in projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience as a Manager of Marketing in a Vacation Ownership Environment.
