We are looking for a Maintenance Tech III to join our team at Shore Crest Vacation Villas. In this role, you will help bring vacation dreams to life by maintaining the guestrooms, public spaces, and back of the house areas in good repair, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property with your primary focus on guest relations and problem resolution. Work well with customers and staff members and drive company success through performing the tasks to the highest standards. Responsibilities include:
- Maintain guestrooms, public areas, and back areas, ensuring a well-kept property.
- Repairs boilers, plumbing, pumps, exhaust fans, and PM all types of HVAC equipment, including new refrigerants.
- Completes maintenance and facilities tasks from work orders.
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment; install new components.
- Install and repair electrical apparatuses, such as transformers, wiring, and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
- Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
- Set up and operate machine tools, such as grinders and drills, to repair and fabricate machine parts.
- Provide customer service to fellow team members, members, owners, and guests.
- Respond to calls and questions from members, owners, and guests.
- Conduct proper building rounds and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Complete special projects.
- Maintain, clean, and chemically balance pools, spas, and water features as directed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn and operate within the different property-specific computer platforms.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Job details:
Full-time- Open to working a variable of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
What are we looking for:

- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate well with guests in English
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 100 lbs., lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and perform grasping, stooping, and overheard reaching with out Capable of climbing stairs/ladders up to 40 feet, pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs., lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., and performing grasping, stooping, and overhead reaching.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- 3-5 years or more of related experience
License & certifications
- HVAC trade school certification, preferred.
- CPO, OSHA 30, CFC CERT
- Driver’s License (non-commercial) – must be state specific.
