We are excited to welcome a talented Front Desk Clerk to our team, who will be the face of our resort and create a lasting impression for our guests. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience, from the initial greeting to the final check-out, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay. Your friendly and organized approach will set the tone for our guests’ entire visit, leaving them with fond memories of their time at Hotel Blake.
Pay: $17.50-$18.25 hourly

- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and personalized approach, offering a memorable first impression.
- Efficiently process check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate guest information and a smooth transition.
- Generate folios, manage guest accounts, and handle payments securely, maintaining confidentiality.
- Receive and coordinate requests for housekeeping and maintenance, ensuring prompt and effective service.
- Stock and organize front desk supplies, including guest packets and local information, to enhance the guest experience.
- Answer incoming calls, provide information, and direct calls to the appropriate departments, maintaining excellent communication.
- Assist guests with inquiries, offering recommendations for local attractions and ensuring a personalized stay.
- Maintain a clean and professional front desk area, creating a welcoming environment for guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations, guest satisfaction, and a cohesive resort experience.
- Perform administrative tasks and contribute to the front office’s efficiency, adapting to the needs of the hotel.

To fulfill this role successfully, you’ll need to possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant post-secondary education in hospitality or customer service preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a front desk or customer-facing role, ideally in the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and assist guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient workflow management.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and front office software, including MS Office and property management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team, adapting to the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the resort.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest issues, ensuring a positive and timely resolution.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest experiences.
