What will I be doing?
- Lead Team Members within the department, including but not limited to the general golf course Maintenance team.
- Assist in all aspects of day-to-day care and maintenance of golf course grounds and irrigation systems, to include mowing, edging, mulching, planting, trimming, and shoveling.
- Participate in and recommend hiring of golf course team members and provide support including training and performance appraisals.
- Make decisions related to chemical applications and purchase of necessary products for golf course maintenance.
- Assist with purchasing; inventory supplies and assist with project management and priorities.
- Other duties as assigned
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience as a Head Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent for a minimum of 2 years.
- High school diploma or GED
- Agronomic and turf grass techniques.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions.
