What Will I be Doing?
The Sr. Specialist performs tasks related to global allotments and trueups to protect liabilities while also leading the daily operations of the Specialists. Must be a capable Specialist with a deeper understanding of the work and assist the Supervisor in maintaining adherence to approved procedure. Sr. Specialists make themselves a subject matter expert of their assigned resorts. Employees must be available to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends, holidays and overtime as required by business needs. Performs other tasks as assigned.
You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Perform audits of Specialist work with deeper understanding procedures and the nuances of individual resorts. Accurately and thoroughly compute global inventory counts for all liabilities considering variations associated with individual collections, liabilities, resorts and exchanges on a quarterly basis. Populate, follow and update divisional checklists to maintain an efficient pace of work flow. Conduct inventory allotments, reconciliations and periodic assessments in a consistent and timely manner in accordance with division scheduling and approved policies. Conduct professional email correspondence with internal and external entities. Receive approval on final counts, notify resorts and transact payback, record transactions and conduct the transactions in Diamond’s property management system, file back-up, and modify the inventory allotments when necessary. Perform audits of Specialist’s work with deeper understanding of nuances of procedures and individual resorts. Ensure that all documents are filed according to approved organizational standards.
- Assist the Supervisor and Manager in leading Specialist to drive work flow forward. Take ownership of the accurate compilation and publishing of reports on a timely basis, both internal and external. Receive and complete ad hoc projects in an efficient and timely manner, meeting sometimes sensitive deadlines. Contribute to the maintenance and organization of the divisional email inbox by servicing queries and resolving inventory issues according to approved procedures. Use, maintain, and propose improvements to existing departmental resources as needed
- Facilitate periodic improvement and updating of existing policies and procedures with a goal of promoting efficiency and timeliness. Audit divisional reference materials for accuracy and updating as assigned. Cross train with other team members to ensure overall divisional success. Assist in the training of new employees as needed, as well as completing all other tasks assigned
What Are We Looking For:
To fulfill this role optimally, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- HS Diploma
- 1 year of lead experience
- Strong Accounting Skills and Level 3 MS Excel
- Proficient in Word, Access and Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to write concise professional business communications
