The Senior Sales Training Manager is responsible for driving productivity through Passport to Peak Performance sales processes for Action Line/In-House/Podium Processes. Although in-person classes remain a priority, there is a significant emphasis on virtual training technology skills. This person will provide high level sales training results both digitally and in-person and will focus on performance development of new and existing sales staff within their assigned area. - Partners and coaches’ sales representatives and sales managers on all components of the sales process, including teaching them how to utilize our LMS.
- Though sales training and podium training skills will always be a requirement of this role, Performance Development is the backbone of the successful candidate. This role will work diligently with Sales Representatives, Directors and Sales Managers to prepare them for next level leadership opportunities.
- Coordinate w/multiple leadership teams to plan, schedule and provide training for sales personnel throughout region.
- Ability to perform operational sales training and development strategies, methodologies, technologies, systems, organizational structure, budget, reporting and resources to all personnel.
- Defines performance, productivity parameters and desired results for the department activities. Including 30-60 day tracking of VPG performance by sales training manager and coaches/trains sales leaders when where needed.
- Maintains knowldege of and teaches others to read and understand performance reports for all sales, including podium presenters.
- Ability to TO/close sales tables, willingness to take overflow tours, skill set to do TO training when needed.
- Prepares/Conducts group presentations about our training activities and New Hire results.
- Communicates Company’s directions, policies and procedures to employees in multiple departments.
- Conduct Sales Rep Evaluations and provide feedback to Senior Management that provides a coaching plan and helps that individual drive performance when requested by site leadership.
- Help design new training curriculum that identifies areas of improvement when requested or when new programs are released to the field.
- Understands and able to teach new employees how comp plans work and how to maximize income potential.
- Develops/Performs many other administrative, operational, and technical tasks/activities required to support area results, such as conducting quality assurance, podium, and standard operating procedure compliance audits.
- Ensures that the compliance of corporate policies, standards and procedures are met at all times.
- Stay up to date on technology enhancements and rollouts. This includes features of virtual training platforms. Manage virtual platform functionality to include digital breakout rooms, video, waiting rooms, chat groups, etc.
- Should be knowledgeable, or able become knowledgeable, in adult learning theory and practice.
