This person will be responsible for related tasks and work independently with little or no supervision, while being proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of integrity and confidentiality. This position leads the Dispatch and Fulfillment teams by providing support to the team on how to deliver exceptional levels of guest service both internally and externally as well as encourage a positive working environment at all times.
- This position will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, and is responsible for the recruiting/selection of talent, onboarding, training, performance management, mentor and counseling, scheduling and recognition. Partners with Sales & Marketing Management in order to ensure the Hilton core values of Hospitality are being maintained in all customer-facing interactions and between the Marketing teams. This position will lead by example and be willing and able to cover shifts.
- Ensuring all shifts are covered daily, scheduling and task assignments. Monitors Team Members PTO requests, collaborates with Business Management, Tour Reception and Resort Operations teams. Tracks attendance of all Team Members, and communicates status of this to Business Management and respective department heads.
- Supervise and maintain tour-booking audits to ensure compliance in tour coding, gifting, show rates and tour eligibility for In-House, Pre-Arrival, and IPC for Myrtle Beach. Same applies to the Point of Sale program.
- Create and maintain reporting to perform performance coaching and cost reduction analysis using excel, Cognos, SharePoint and Voice.
- Develop and maintain the East Region Marketing Support Training Program and materials.
- Grow Marketing Support agents to empower decision making to increase retention and grow skill sets to better assist in career growth.
- Work with Leadership to develop processes and policies that will assist in the growth of the business as well improve the team’s effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Facilitate payroll administration: i.e., collection of timesheets, collection of missed punch forms, supervise overtime, and schedule adherence.
- Handles and assists all systems on boarding for new hires of the Marketing Department. Requests systems access for all newly hired Sales Team Members (Windows, Chorus, Lobby, etc…) Coordinates and provides information to new employees including the ordering of business cards, name tags, sales material, new hire packet, etc
- SharePoint Administration: Develops and documents SharePoint system and applications using appropriate editors. Develops sites using web designs, forms, templates and workflows. Works with the business to update content as needed. Develops and maintains file management system for internal documents and procedures. Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with existing applications and communicates solutions to appropriate areas. Monitors and reports on Intranet usage and performs other system monitoring and log analysis as needed. Manages user permissions, updating and revising as needed. Develops end-user technical documentation and training.
- Maintains a positive working environment for all Team Members and abides by the HILTON values at all times.
- Carries out reporting requests as deemed necessary by the Senior Marketing
- 4+ years related experience as a Manager of Marketing in a Vacation Ownership Environment
5-7 years Vacation Ownership Marketing experience - Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of in-house and IPC marketing positions
- Communicate clearly and distinctly with new owners. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Possess project management and problem solving skills.
- Must be computer savvy and have experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must exude a professional demeanor at all times on duty or on property
