We are looking for a Chief Engineer at Stonewater Cove, a luxurious 38-unit property on Table Rock Lake in the breathtaking hills of the Missouri Ozarks! What will I do as a Chief Engineer?
•Leads a team of highly motivated Technicians.
•Completes property repairs and manages capital projects with company guidelines.
•Guides and strengthen team members for future career opportunities.
•Develops and completes the pivotal initiatives for the Engineering department, and adjusts the operations in order to meet the strategic goals and interests of Resort Operations
•Ensure that the property’s Emergency Preparedness and Safety Awareness Plan(s) are updated and current at all times.
•Maintains an accurate inventory of operating supplies and ensures that proper purchasing procedures are followed to maintain an adequate supply. Ensures all assets of the department, equipment, supplies and storage are accurately locked and secured.
•Handles relationships, contracts, compliance, and interface issues with the operation’s business supporters and suppliers to ensure business needs and financial responsibilities are handled in a timely manner
•Performs other related activities as required.
What are we looking for?
•High school graduate or equivalent experience.
•5-7 + Years of engineering experience in hotels or related industry.
•3-5+Years of leadership experience in the same or similar environment.
•EPA Certification Type II (HVAC) Required
•EPA I (Appliance) Preferred
•Project management experience.
•Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office.
•Flexible Schedule
