As a Housekeeping Supervisor you will be responsible for driving company success in relation to housekeeping within the Craigendarroch resort comprising of 32 Suites and 99 Lodges.
To ensure:
- All accommodation has been cleaned and prepared in line with Hilton Grand Vacations expected quality standards and brand standards (where applicable). You are expected to have a great attitude and fantastic attention to detail. You’ll need to take pride in what you do and have high personal standards and energy levels.
- Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to coach and motivate team members are all essential requirements for this job.
- Team members are supervised in their role and tasks to deliver the expected level of service.
- Exceptional customer service is delivered by yourself and the Housekeeping department as a whole, so there is a requirement to be friendly and able to give a warm welcome to any guests and resort team members you meet.
What will I be doing:
- Allocating work duties to Team Members on a daily basis and plan ahead for deep cleans and operational tasks.
- Performing routine inspections and spot checks of Suites / Lodges.
- Reporting and following up on any maintenance defects or other issues.
- Routinely inspecting rooms, lodges, service areas, storerooms and corridors.
- Scheduling and supervising deep cleaning and any other projects.
- Managing and training Room Attendants and other Team Members to ensure their performance is to the standards required.
- Supporting Team Member in the in-house laundry.
- Assist the Assistant manager/ Executive Housekeeper with Casual Team Member Recruitment /Induction/ Training and enforcing HR policies.
- Taking ownership of Day-to-day tasks within the Housekeeping department to ensure the smooth running of the department
- Positive attitude & good communication skill
- Committed to delivering consistently high levels of quality standards of work and customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- A successful track record of working with and managing a team would be preferred
- Strong organizational and analytic skills and attention to detail
- Experience of managing people, ideally, using a coaching style to ensure consistently high standards on a weekly basis
- Strong communication skills – A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
- Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office
- Experience in a similar position
